The traditional approach to design and construction was employed, initially. An architectural firm was engaged and plans and specifications were produced. General contractors were then invited to bid upon the architect’s drawings. When the bids were submitted, they came in tremendously higher than the church’s budget.
T&W Corporation then approached the church with their Design/Build method for this project and a new design team was assembled. Estimated costs were monitored as the design progressed which enabled the church to stay within their established budget.
The final outcome is a beautiful 7,000 sf building with soaring roof lines, a main sanctuary with exposed laminated wood beams and a solid brick veneer exterior. The facility also houses a fellowship hall, offices, restrooms, foyer, classrooms, and nursery.
