The addition of a 7,000 sf auditorium provided the church membership a more spacious worship facility and room for growth while keeping a warm, comforting feeling of a sanctuary. The auditorium has seating for 500 people, specialty lighting, and a state-of-the-art sound system.
The main structure uses a pre-engineered clear span steel building with a sloped theatre-type floor to achieve uninterrupted views. A vented roof system was utilized and composite shingles were applied to match the existing church’s roof.
Later, a narthex addition of 2,500 sf was added consisting of new restrooms, classrooms, and a drop-off carport. An additional 4,000 sf of the existing building was renovated from the former sanctuary into a chapel, addition of a second level, and more classrooms.
